The razors are so sharp that they left scratch marks ALL OVER my face and neck. I always use oil before I shave my face to reduce irritation/friction, but I don't think anything could have saved me. I have been shaving my face for quite some time, and I have never had such a horrible experience. I purchased these instead of my usual cheap dollar tree face razors thinking they would work better. This is your face, you don't want to hack it up do you?Ouch…Please do not buy these. Do not swipe through real fast with it like you would when shaving your arm pit in the shower. These are very sharp blades and will cut you if you aren't being careful and paying close attention to what you're doing. Be very careful around your jaw, chin, lips, nose, and around your brows. Do NOT rub your skin with the towel! Then I go in with my regular skincare routine. Know your skin) after 20 minutes I rinse that off thoroughly, patting skin dry. I do this step bcuz it help prevent irritation for me, for someone else it may cause irritation. Once done I rinse my face in lukewarm water, then apply a salicylic acid mud mask (I use the one from Philosophy. This causes less skin irritation and ensures I don't miss any patches of fuzz, and also gets anything I missed. Then I do the same thing but going upward. Not dripping off my face but just enough that the skin is slippery. How I use them: I wash my face with a basic face wash, then I apply a thin layer of cleaning oil (I use the one from Tatcha, but any will work) then holding the blade at a 45 degree angle against my skin I glide the blade downward, wipe the blade on a damp cloth, repeat only going downward on all areas of my face, then I reapply a little more cleansing oil. I don't have sensitive skin so I'm not sure how this would be for someone with sensitive skin. I have found when it's time to use a new one it doesn't pull at my peach fuzz like a dull blade normally would, but instead it does make my skin rather irritated unfortunately. I do wish they were recyclable and I wish they had a blade cover like some other brands I've tried, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
